Depending on the manufacturer, some fountains have a scored groove in the tower support, which is located at the point where each tier attaches to the fountain. This groove along with a third set screw in the tier makes it easy to mount the fountain without having to use a level.

Another option is the Double Core, which comes with a custom, aluminum encased, double core heating element. This particular type of chocolate fountain is specially designed so heat is distributed more evenly. This is a nice feature to ensure chocolate does not burn and that the temperature stays at a consistent and comfortable level for eating.

Finally, there is the Crown, which is the top of the chocolate fountain that adds a nice, decorative touch. This one-piece unit helps make cleaning easier since chocolate cannot get into the small crevices found in multi-piece crowns.
